Westchester Estate

A full renovation of a French Country Farmhouse estate on a bucolic eight acre site extending to the Hudson River. The work included reorganizing the second floor to create a new Master Suite, taking advantage of the panoramic views of the Hudson, and a new modern Kitchen with a brick arched ceiling and richly detailed cabinetry that feels both current and yet appropriate with the character of the existing house. Windows and french doors were returned to their original configurations to re-engage the interior spaces with the expansive landscape beyond, and carefully restored woodwork and staircases harken back to the drama of the house’s history.
